Please note that construction work adjacent to Coburn Street and Highway 1 will resume starting June 6, 2024. For access, worker and public safety reasons, CIF Construction will be implementing a full closure of Coburn Street for approximately one (1) week between Highway 1 and the intersection of Coburn Street, Paquette Road and Cedar Avenue. The road will be reopened on or before 5:00 pm on June 14, 2024.
With the exception of construction vehicles and equipment, no foot or vehicle traffic will be permitted in the closure zone. Access to residences and facilities on Paquette Road and Cedar Avenue will be maintained for the duration of this closure. The temporary access route for all emergency and residential traffic will be via Shuswap Avenue to Highway 1 per the attached maps. Left turn slots on the highway will be closed to both Foothills Road and Coburn Street. Right turns in and out of Foothills Road will be permitted. Work will take place between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and 7:00 am to 3:00 pm on June 12 and 13 with no work on Sundays. The closure will remain in effect for all operational and nonoperational periods until the work has been completed.
