Notice – Construction on 1st Ave to upgrade water infrastructure

Please note that construction will be taking place on 1stAvenue from August 5 through September to upgrade water infrastructure.
Con-Ex Civil Contractors is undertaking the construction project on behalf of the Village of Chase and will be conducting the following activities:
– Removal of existing asphalt, curbing, sidewalks and driveways that will impact the installation of a new watermain.
– Installation of a new permanent watermain including permanent service connections.
– Restoration of the impacted road and resurfacing of the entire roadway, curbing, sidewalks, driveways and private properties impacted by service connections.
1st Avenue will be closed to local traffic only, but accommodation will be provided for all residents to access their properties. Area residents are asked to utilize the alleyway wherever possible to access their properties. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated as necessary.
Please exercise caution and obey all traffic signs and traffic personnel during this construction.
Crews will be working between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday.
