On the heels of an increase that was hotly discussed and upset many Chase residents (Water & Sewer rates/Consumption), the Village of Chase Mayor & Council has yet managed to upset residents once again.
Property Tax notices were recently sent out, many have found themselves with one of the largest property tax increases in the past 5 years.
Some may or may not follow council meetings in the village, even those that do may find themselves perplexed in why there is such a large increase in this years bill.
So far there has been no answer or reason for the increase. It seems the current mayor and Council are not doing the best at finding a happy medium, with high increases rather than reasonable. While also giving themselves a raise.
